Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Rippliq, a web application for auditing and optimizing podcast RSS feeds, available at rippliq.com (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Tapmates s.r.o., with its registered office in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic ("Rippliq", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Beta service

Rippliq is currently in beta. The Service is provided free of charge during this period and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued without notice. Features, pricing, and availability may change once the beta ends.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Rippliq. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and, where you use it on behalf of an organization, that you are authorized to do so.

3. Accounts and access

Some features may require an account or email verification. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@rippliq.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit RSS feeds or content you do not have the right to submit or analyze.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities without prior written permission.
• Use the Service to transmit malware, illegal content, or material that infringes third-party rights.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond reasonable, documented API use.

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these rules.

5. User content

You retain all rights to the podcast feeds, episodes, and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Rippliq a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process and display it solely to operate the Service for you — including sending the minimum necessary content to AI processors that generate rewrites and explanations. We do not use your content to train third-party AI models.

6. AI-generated output

Rippliq uses AI to generate title suggestions, show notes, and audit explanations. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing any suggestion before publishing it. Rippliq makes no guarantees about search-ranking outcomes, listenership, or platform approval.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Rippliq and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. The Rippliq name and logo may not be used without written permission, except to refer to the Service itself.

8. Third-party services and platforms

Rippliq interacts with third-party platforms (such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube) and service providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of those platforms. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that audit results will be complete or accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rippliq and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law (e.g., for intentional misconduct or death or personal injury caused by negligence).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Rippliq harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or the law. The effective date above will always reflect the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of the Czech Republic shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.
